CASology have the prompt 'season'.
Addicted to Stamps & More want 'clean and simple'.
Crafty Creations have 'anything goes'.

A lovely friend recently married and she and her husband are off to live in Florida for a couple of years.

Lucky them!

I'm sure they will not only enjoy the wonderful weather after England, but also throw themselves wholeheartedly into the American way of life and have some amazing experiences.

Meanwhile in sunny Derby, I've just been looking for a 'snowbow' through the kitchen window ...

Glorious sunshine but very cold and we've just had a short snow flurry!

Thank you for stopping by today.

CAS on Sunday and AAA Cards want 'stencils'.
I used this week's colour combo from Just Us Girls.
The Butterfly challenge wants 'faux' and/or the colour jasmine (which apparently is creamy yellow!).
Stamplorations want 'things with wings'.

My mojo seems to have gone AWOL recently.

After sitting (rather unproductively) at my craft desk for some time, I managed to come up with the card above.

For want of whiling away the rest of my day surrounded by piles of scrumpled paper and feeling increasingly frustrated I'm off to paint the hall, stairs and landing.

I've been meaning to do it for eons.

Should keep me out of mischief ... I hope I don't get frustrated with that too!

Following on from my previous "Rainbow Zebra" post, as the old adage goes: "waste not, want not",

I used the remaining card from my rainbow smooshed background to cut a small frame.

So here goes again!

Allsorts want some bling.

CAS-ual Fridays want rainbows.

Time Out have a quotation "When it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars".

I'm also heading on over to Di's playground with my snippet frame.

It is not visible in my photos (even after numerous attempts) that there is a piece of acetate between the frame and the bloom image to emphasise the 'framed picture' effect.

Never mind!

Typical Bank Holiday weather.

Cold, wet and the sun is nowhere to be seen.

I've just relented and turned the heating back on!

Off to eat some chocolate ...

Happy Easter everyone

Allsorts want some bling.

CAS-ual Fridays want rainbows.

Time Out have a quotation "When it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars" and

Retro Rubber want 'baby critters'.

I love the little critters from my rather old "Zoo Babies" set.

I had to look up when I bought it for the Retro Rubber challenge and it was way back in 2013! Eek

A bit of bling, dazzle and colour for a rather dreary day (in my neck of the woods).

Hope the sun is shining on you instead!

Happy Wednesday

Using the colours from CAS Colours & Sketches and
the sketch from the Flower Challenge.

Regular visitors to my blog may notice the change in background for the photos.

I'm debating whether to move over to the 'dark side' ...

What do you think?

Black or white background?

If you can spare a moment, i'd be grateful for your comments!

I hope this sunny Monday heralds a good week ahead for you.

It's the start of the Easter holidays for me so I'm very happy with lots of plans buzzing around in my head.

I got the day off to a great start with a guiltily large pile of homemade scotch pancakes smothered in golden syrup, lemon juice and dark chocolate.

Naughty and very nice.

Uniko Stamp Sets used: Beautiful Blooms 1

The Uniko challenge this month is 'Spring' with the optional addition of Easter.
Creative Inspirations want 'Spring'.
Sweet Stampin have 'mellow yellow'.

All the muscari and early tulips are now in full bloom in my garden.

It's a riot of colour: yellows, blues, fuschia and reds. Fabulous!

I love Spring - definitely the best season in my garden.

Here's hoping the temperatures warm up and I can actually sit in the garden instead of admiring it from inside through the windows!
